The Housing Market Is Heading in a Good Direction

Mortgage rates ended the month over a 30 basis points lower than where they started and more buyers have returned to the market. Housing starts, which I wish we paid more attention to increased to 9.8%, nearly 10% with building permit applications rising almost 14%. David Green: It just shows that people are eager to buy into the housing market right now. Affordability is low, but as soon as affordability improves even a little bit, people are sort of jumping back in and are buying.
