i wasn't growing up as a child or a tenager in a buddhist culture, and i didn't easily have access. It's not necessarily something that you would e do in the way that christians might think of going to church on a weekly basis. When talking about other religions, it just feels best to use the recent alternative convention of b c, e before the common era and c e common era. In this context, i feel i should only use b, c and a d when talking about christian history and belief.
