This is the turning of Israel's history to a new phase. We've had this Exodus age and deliverance of the land. But now the rest of it will be, well, how did we carry out God's mandate? Which is summarized in Deuteronomy 26, verse 19. See, I've set you high above the nations for praise, honor, and no, for a name, fame, honor,and glory. That was the mission. Unfortunately, they forgot it,. They were there to be paradigms before the world, trophies of grace.
