Is This a Reflection of a Transition Period to a Multipolar World?
The war has been cast as a battle of values between the kind of western, democratic, liberal order and autocracy. I would say that this war really is a reflection of transition to a multipoleal where we cannot really talk any more about one side democracies and the other side in the autocracies. The very stinking behind the russian strategies of o the past ten years or so, has been that vision of a future of of the global order with large, politicaly and economically integrated units exchange security guarantees for each other.
