The Devil's Finger in the Pie
The devil had been having a rough month. A cow wandered into a swamp and got stuck in the deep mud. The peasant tried to pull it out, but couldn't because he was too far away. He then saw an evil woman who recognized him from his previous life. She said she could help get the cow out of the swamp with no strings attached. It took two hours for her to do so; by the time they were done, the devil was covered in mud. But at least now there would be something to thank him for. "You take the day off, big D."
