How to Reconnect Your Compass
People who walk into compass tech support often can't hear their compass at all. So they assume that it's broken or maybe non-existent. The good news is that typically neither of those things are actually the case. Compasses run on a different, more rarefied fuel than engines do. If I'm working with a client, I will typically start by reconnecting to what it has felt like when their compass has told them something in the past.
