The Problems With God's Condescending Relationship to Slavery
There are some serious problems with this, and I'll talk about those in a second. The idea that God has to condescend is not borne out by passages like Leviticus 25. One of their main arguments is based on Matthew chapter 19,. And it says that God allowed you, Moses allowed you to put away your wives, to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard - but it wasn't this way from the beginning.
