Extibation Criteria

Every patient should get a spontaneous breathing trial every day, and that markedly improves your extibation rates. They have to be nerologically intact, unable to respond mtc, know that they can protect their airway when they are exibated. Their vent settings have to be minimul a, you know, generally, a peep less than seven or so,. um, really, five is cont of what we aim for. The further down from a hundred, the better they are for excavation.
