The Origins of Prison Uniforms
Prison uniforms first emerged in England in the 1800s. They were stamped entirely from head to toe in this one symbol. The logo is of a very wide arrow that almost looks like an open ended triangle. And this was stamped all over the uniforms and therefore all over the prisoners' bodies.
