Kara: It's like anybody who's found themselves in a cult. You look at them and you go, how the hell do you believe what they're selling? How did you get in so deep? And it's so hard for us to see it because we're not in it. Steve: I think some people that might have been the pathway, but I know people who believe that by that pathway, they were already conspiracy wounds. So yeah, there's multiple paths into that rabbit hole, but you're right. Once you get into it, it's self reinforcing. Unless you have critical thinking skills, which these people clearly don't.
