How Did the Vikings End?

The names of several days come from the old norse of the vikings. The symbol for blue tooth, you know, the wireless system that your head phones might connect to, is actually two different norse characters on top of each other. There are hundreds of other words with old norse origins, from knife to window, band to hell. Vikings had spent months and years away from scandinavia, and they had brought back some british and christian traditions. They were remembered as barbarians, savages, violent, bloodthirsty pagan invaders who massacred innocent people until the victorian era.
