I Used to Exercise, but Now I Don't
This form of the phrasal verb is always going to contain did in the sentence and it's always in the past, like you said. So a couple example sentences, I didn't used to exercise as often as I do now. You can see how it's the same meaning as what we were saying; there's just two different ways to say it. And remember, guys, that used to does not have the D at the end of use, right? Exactly.
