The dress was the thing that freaked us all out. Two thousand 15 washington post said it was the argument that broke the internet. I have never asked a single person so far about it who did not have a memory of the dress. But i'm sure eventually i will meet somebody. It's a great way to get into that topic, or if you just need to be prompted to to recall how it all went down. Before confirmation bias was something everybody had heard of and filter bubbles, before all of the stuff just became part of being a person, the dress was the things that freaked me out.
