The Weather Reminds Us Both of Our Power and of Our Powerlessness

Life in the anthropocene is that we are both bigger than the world, and smaller. We do not decide whether it rains or not. We have conquered nature. But we are also still regularly conquered by nature. The weather reminds us of our power and of our powerlessness. There is no way out from the obligations and limitations of nature because we are nature.
