The Genre of Person in the 19th Century

The genre of person is scattered across the book. It has to do obviously with everything we've been talking about and lyricization. The crossing of race and gender in the 19th century, the genre of the person is foregrounded but also abstracted. And so, I don't know if this is the place for me to say it, but this is actually only half the book I meant to write,. So I'm now finishing the second half - ins with Dunbar, and the dialect speaker.
