The IRS is going to demand that you pay your taxes in US dollars regardless of what else you do. I don't know what level of difficulty it would present. My guess is not much. There's always going to be a way to convert your wealth from one currency to another. And as long as that exists, you're going to be fine with placating the government types who come looking for their pound of flesh every year.
