Is a Dividend Buyback a Better Way to Go?
CEOs usually get promoted because they're exceptional sales people, or exceptional marketing people. They don't capital allocation aspect of their skill set is never really tested until they're in the top job. Tim Cook has been a really good CEO because he felt like he didn't understand these things well. He asked himself who are the best people who can help me learn these things. I think Buffett gave him some good pointers.
