Irritable Bowel - What Is the Primary Rectal Problem?

The most important other approach that I can take is to do a very careful digital rectal examination. In patients who have spasticity of the pelvic floor or of the anus, there is no movement. The resting tone of the anus fincter tells us about how much resistance there is to the movement of stool out of the rectum. Often we see patients with like fibromyalgia of the pelvicfloor.
