The Risk of Investing in a Construction Loan
The market is littered with five and a half to five and three quarter return on cost multifamily development projects that are utterly stuck. Once the backlog that's delivering right now, as we've talked a lot about, it's absorbed, we're going to see a real housing shortage issue. And I think this ultimately is we kind of work our way through this. We'll probably create some opportunities as capital starts to come back to the market.
