Sorjana Defends Her Actions and the Right of Women to Learn

The Bishop of Puebla pulled Sorjana into a dispute over the right of women to learn. She responded by saying that her desire to learn wasn't something she had chosen for herself and was just part of her nature. Her responses were simultaneously conciliatory and absolutely unyielding.
