i think it's probably the most effective marriage of deeply human and emotional film making with deeply, like, a mannered and sort of built out world building. Even the william defoe as the sort of surregate son in the hole in the whole movie is really great. I just re watched it. E's just so fk and funny. Andjill i gets it. And also, there you get to see like, a new side of refines as well. But i don't really think he'd gotten those opportunities before.
