I decided to give this talk because I kind of had to learn things the hard way in terms of performance with Python. In this talk, I basically talk about the math, but what, behind why vectorized operations work. You don't need any math background to understand. It's very gentle. And then, just show why some of these operations work in NumPy and how you can implement it yourself to get really massive gains in speed.
