How Does Mental Rotation Affect General Intelligence?

The way that they measured intelligence is kind of interesting. They used a, they used three dimensional rotation items from something called the International Cognitive Ability Resource. The ability to mentally rotate an object and solve these problems assesses an aspect of spatial reasoning. Mental rotation ability is in fact very highly correlated with other measures of general intelligence.
