Heart only has about three to four billion heart cells, and if you lose a billion of them that's the problem. So how can we restore that? Can we use stem cells to generate new muscle? And there are two types of stem cells one is an adult stem cell. These are stem cells that you have in my body, and some organs stem cells. The heart doesn't have stem cells. So how do we regenerate heart? While some people are using bone marrow stem cells to try and improve heart function, but that doesn't form heart muscle.
