The Importance of Looking Inward

Most of us go to look inward, but the way we're looking has so much conditioning that we need some training in how to do it. The Dalai Lama says, I try to meet everyone I meet as an old friend. And what I like about this and why I often think about that quote is because it has in it this attitude of inclusion. Like whatever is coming up, it can be included. You're never going to be free of all bias or never. Yet, we can work on cultivating the spirit of inclusion. It comes partly from learning how to look at what's happening in your experience"
