The First Constitutional Climate Trial in US History
This week, the first ever constitutional climate trial in US history got underway in Montana. The plaintiffs are 16 young people who are aged between five and 22 years old. They're alleging that Montana's energy policies have violated their constitutional rights to a clean and healthy environment.
