The Battle of Finnsberg

There's a canning at the very heart of this poem, which is Beowulf. He defeats grendel by ripping his arm off at the socket. Interspersed are two other poems, one referring to the dragon slayer. And later on, Battle of Finnsberg episode, where it describes some of the issues that affect states at war. These poems within poems have roles to play, but they're all supposed from the main action.
