The History of Artificial Intelligence

The word artificial intelligence was came out of one of the early conferences back and I think it was the early 1950s. The band of researchers divided up into two halves, one of whom wanted to copy human intelligence. They just want something that could do something powerfully whether it did it like a person did or not. And they use the airplane as the analogy. Airplanes don't work the way birds fly.
