Deep Learning Is a Program in Paradigm

Deep learning systems are not an antagonism to symbolic systems. There is no limit to what the deep learning community is doing. The counterpositions that come against this seem to be often more religious like a notion of symbol grounding That seems to be superstitious and it's not borne out by a philosophy that actually works. Gary Mark has announced that he is going to write an article about don't look up in the context of EGI but I find this curious because he is basically the one who's going to bet the people who think that the meteor is going to hit that there will be no meteor or whatever.
