Is There More Than One Right Answer?
A modern school is an authoritarian environment, he says. Teachers are given instructions by the principal and superintendent about what children should be learning. The teacher has to pass all this on and then force it so that students not only are told what to learn, but they're told how to learn it. It's no surprise there for that people go on in life often never looking back at the kinds of things that they were forced to study in school.
