The federal government is proposing new legislation that would change the way all of this works. In particular, it would repeal this presumption of equal shared parental responsibility. Jane says to enforce that in relationships which have descended into allegations of abuse and violence will 'not work' She asks if court appointed reporters who do psychological reports to the court about the mental health of the people on either side are well-informed or not? "I'm hoping that this is changing"
