Are there any kind of internal checks and balances on what these algorithms can be trained on or what they can produce? It does appear that a lot of these generators, such as like Dolly or Stable Diffusion, do have blocks in place for certain celebrities and politicians. There are some exceptions, like you could get into European Union law and like these quote unquote rights to be forgotten. If individuals wanted to ask these AI companies to be taken out of the learning datasets, the companies would most often comply with that sort of request from an EU citizen. Otherwise it is kind of up to them.
