We have to start to look at houses as places where people can lead healthy lives. We've got into a culture of doing things in a shoddy way, he says. Prices for rhetfic work are about 30 % or more too low to do it properly. And all the experience we've had of getting things wrong and having to go round again is five times as much to put it right when we allow it to go wrong. I think there's an awful lot that should be done across the country on climate change but has been buried in predetermining what needs to be done.
