The Extrinsic Model of Divine Agency
The popular conceptions of God's agency are based on the prior divine decree model and the prior divine act model. In both these cases, there is a factor if we substitute for a my act any any act that I perform. Outside my control from which my act simply follows it's either going to either the divine decree your choice, or the guides active causing the act itself. And what I do won't be off way up to me or ultimately in my control. The extrinsic model of thinking about divine agency is not something ginned up for the sole purposes of solving this problem.
