The Dangers of Confirmation Bias in Journalism
I like to give people an instinct about who we're hearing from, because there's nothing stranger than the idea that some stranger would come up and write a story. And with what I would hear just talking to people, you know, I've always been kind of a lack of a better term, a social butterfly. So I think that all of those things tied together to get me fascinated in journalism, reporting the whole nine yards. Now, now, cold paper, you'll be surprised to learn, but I actually worked some drug cases out there when I was assigned to the Washington field office. That's not a surprise.
