The FTC's Cost-Benefit Analysis

A lot ofa agencies undertake a cost benefit analysis in undertaking their work and in the rule writing. It's interesting to just ask whether or not that analysis looks different when competition is one of your primary objectives. If we're moving in the conian direction, especially as relating to frontier technologies, i think it has to be very deliberate for the agencies to do this. And it really needs to be a policy discussion.
