Blackbeard's Black Flag

Blackbeard set up a blockade of four ships outside of charleston, robbing whoever sailed in or out of the colony. For an entire week, ships sailed out to find what they thought was just another ship. But when either the queen anne's revenge or one of blackbeard's other sloops came too close for the other ship to get away, blackbeard would hoist the black flag of the pirate and fire a warning shot. By the end of the week long blockade, blackbeard's crew had plundered ten ips and had effectively paralyzed one of the richest colonies south.
