Mat halprot: I think the most important thing is, this is what we didn't talk about. It's the importance of trying to understand your political adversaries a and this is something that the left has always been quite gifted at,. But conservatives have actually done more and work on because there's the temptation in the left to sometimes just adopt this idea that we don't really need to understand what conservativism is. We cannot just reject that entire effort in the hope that it'll go away, cause it absolutely will not.
