I watched my children be so lonely because they were born and raised in Uganda. They were never stuck at home with just me. There were always other kids and other adults in and out of our home. I was feeling very sad and very anxious, but Godhead, I had already signed this publishing contract. So I had to add on this journey to discover more of his character. And as I wrote the book, he just kind of, I was not writing from a place of expertise or having figured something out that I wanted to share with others," she said.
