This is part 16 of the Empire in Deep State series. We're going to be talking about Indonesia and Egypt now. The Eisenhower administration was very loyal to the forces of you know big oil and Wall Street. They were very focused on Indonesia and how they could bring it over to the US orbit. In order to understand that history we also need to understand the early 20th century the role of natural resources like gold in Indonesia. It ends up setting a stage for what really a colonial tragedy a neo colonial tragedy in Indonesia A massacre would eventually unfold.
