The Importance of Policy Adjustments
The Atlanta Fed is raising its GDP from seven days ago. The staff sees recession later this year with the recovery over the next couple of years. Mary Daley did say that more hikes may not be needed to fight inflation, but take a listen. There are good reasons to think that policy may have to tighten more to bring inflation down.
