The Story of Plastic Bottles

Three plastic bottles can circulate in our ecosystem for centuries. Most plastics don't biodegrade, meaning they're destined to break down into smaller and smaller pieces called microplastics. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a place where the ocean's currents have trapped millions of millions of pieces of plastic debris.
