A friend of my parents saw me in a play and said that I obviously took it seriously. He suggested that I join this national youth company called the National Youth Music Theatre. It was from that that I got an audition for a TV show which I then got and made the decision to leave school. We were working five days six day weeks. But you know it was again great training ground to learn very quickly where a camera is, how to hit a mark, how lights affect you,. learning lines on a constant cycle because you've got another four episodes to do the following week. wonderful camaraderie, wonderful community amongst the cast.
