The Three Functions of Language
I think a lot of us have this feeling, especially we have studied logic, like, oh my God, this thing seems so true. Like it's just tapping into some like eternal truth. It makes me wonder whether babies make more errors when they're younger and then over time develop an intuition for what an actual valid argument is. I find that to be quite an interesting approach; once you start thinking of logic as a property of human language rather than transcendental floating thing in the ether. We wanted to add the argumentative function on top: Popper.
