Asim: I think part of the problem is simply, we are a people, a nation and a government with a lot of debt. So if we hat a much higher savings rate and much lower debt, we could play that strategy much more effectively. But i would also make the point that if you think about compounding growth rates over time,. A difference of, say, a percentage point a year over some number of decades leads to a very radical difference in living standards. And that some day we will regret having been so complaisant. Our descendants will regret it for us.
