The Importance of Celebrating Individuals
i was thinking about this because i remember you brought this up and i was like what if it's just a shift away from individualism in general maybe that's not a terrible thing. peter teal has the same argument and he's like we don't have ticker tape prades anymore for like individuals for people who accomplished big things and it's not proper to celebrate an individual. I also think what society as a whole values and sort of holds up as laudable has changed so our society doesn’t value fine men anymore It values like thinking about the collective like victimhood oppression stuff like that.
