How to Be a Better Engineer Manager
As a direct report, you can sometimes solve problems by paying attention to your manager's pain points and seeing for he or she is struggling. Sometimes as an engineer manager, we get bogged down with a ton of responsibilities. You might have an opportunity to say, hey, I've been working in this section of the system. I can take some or so help partner with them and help them build that. It's really about being transparent of where you're suffering and not trying to hide things.
