The Importance of Critical Thinking on Boards
The number of inexperienced venture board members in this cycle are pretty extreme. That combined with that inexperienced combined with a perspective of what you should or shouldn't be doing and a general busyness created an enormous amount of passivity among board members. The one that was the worst, my frame of reference is complete and total lack of critical thinking. I think empathy is probably in that word universe too, where it doesn't mean anything anymore.
