The End of the Writers Strike

TV ratings have declined basically every year that I've been alive almost. The box office for movies was, was doing pretty well through the Marvel era but obviously COVID killed it. When you're fighting over how to divide a growing pie, it's relatively easy to make a deal that leaves everybody somewhat happy. But when you’re fighting over a shrinking pie, then things are going to get really bitter, really fast. You know, what we haven't talked about here is that streaming exists and streaming is a new source of revenue. And dreaming does not make up for a 30% loss at the global box office.
