vivie had to shut her eyes to close out the memory of when she was given accommendation. She'd wanted to buy what blythe was selling, and that made her complicit in whatever followed. Vivie already knew the first thing shannon would be tasked with as a messenger take lethal revenge against her husband. That much was clear the log books in the armory. The same was true for all the women vivi had trained, believing she was teaching them self defence. Once again, she cursed her own wilful blindness.
